MR. RAMA SUBRAMANIAM GANDHI was Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India from 2014 to 2017. Currently he is a freelance adviser and consultant in financial sector policy and regulation, payment systems, FinTech & currency management. Gandhi joined Reserve Bank of India in 1980. He worked in diverse areas including currency management and information technology and was also the Executive Assistant to the RBI Governor for more than three years. He had a brief stint at the Securities Exchange Board of India. He was appointed as Deputy Governor in April 2014. During the three years in office as Deputy Governor, he held the portfolio of banking, non-banking and cooperative banking regulation, risk management (financial and operational risk management, internal control, and financial stability) and currency management. During the last year of his term, he held the portfolio of financial market regulation, foreign exchange and external reserves management, accounts, payment systems, information technology and currency management. For a brief period, he was one of the members of the first Monetary Policy Committee.

He represents the Company in various High Level Committees for policy making related to currency. He is a MBA graduate, Senior Executive Fellow of Harvard Kennedy School, Non-degree study, College of Business Administration, University of Cincinnati, USA. He is also a certified associate of Indian Institute of Bankers.In his career of 35 years, he has handled major path breaking projects for RBI in leadership roles Mr. Kaza is an industry thought leader in the areas of Payment Systems, Currency Management and Customer Service. People know him as an achiever who tirelessly and purposefully homes in on solutions when difficult problems arise and is known to resolve complex disputes in a non-disruptive manner.

Mr Mahendra Nerurkar is the Vice President of Emerging Countries Payments at Amazon, leading Amazon's payments operations for APAC, MENA and LATAM. He is dedicated to making digital payments trusted, convenient and rewarding ultimately simplifying customers' lives and helping them fulfill their aspirations. Previously, Mahendra led product and general management roles for various global businesses at Amazon. Prior to Amazon, he worked as a strategy and technology consultant at Oliver Wyman and Computer Sciences Corporation advising clients in North America, Europe and Asia. Mahendra holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, and a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
